Strategic Plan and Deployment (2025–2030)

The 2025–2030 Strategic Plan serves as a forward-looking framework to elevate the Institute’s academic quality, governance, infrastructure, and societal engagement over the next five years. Developed through a collaborative process involving administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders, the plan outlines strategic priorities that will be continuously monitored, reviewed, and updated to stay aligned with global academic and industry standards.

A detailed review and revision will be conducted at the end of this five-year cycle to ensure continued relevance and impact.

Strategic Objectives and Action Plan (2025–2030)

  1. Autonomous Status and Governance
    • Work towards obtaining Autonomous Status from the affiliating university and regulatory bodies.
    • Implement academic and administrative reforms to leverage autonomy for flexible curriculum design, faster decision-making, and innovation.
  2. Accreditation and Quality Assurance
    • Achieve NAAC Accreditation with A++ Grade and maintain continuous quality improvement systems.
    • Secure and sustain NBA Accreditation for eligible programs and ensure Permanent Affiliation where required.
  3. Curriculum Innovation and Continuous Upgradation
    • Regularly revise and update the curriculum in consultation with industry experts, alumni, and academic leaders.
    • Incorporate outcome-based education (OBE), multidisciplinary electives, and experiential learning modules.
  4. Faculty Development and Research Culture
    • Strengthen faculty capacity through participation in FDPs, workshops, national/international conferences, and research collaborations.
    • Encourage faculty to publish in Scopus/WoS indexed journals and engage in funded projects.
  5. Industry Collaboration and Partnerships
    • Deepen engagement with industries through MoUs, internships, consultancy projects, and joint research initiatives.
    • Conduct industry–academia interaction sessions to ensure curriculum relevance and skill alignment.
  6. Student Employability and Career Development
    • Strive for 100% placement of all eligible students, focusing on core sector opportunities.
    • Establish an in-house training centre for GATE, CAT, GRE, and other competitive examinations.
  7. Infrastructure and Centres of Excellence
    • Develop Centres of Excellence in advanced areas such as AI, IoT, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Renewable Energy, and Industry 4.0.
    • Strengthen laboratory facilities, smart classrooms, and research infrastructure.
  8. Skill Development and Certification
    • Offer value-added certification programs in each department to enhance students’ technical skills and employability.
  9. Postgraduate and Research Programs
    • Introduce new PG programs that are relevant to industry and societal needs.
    • Actively seek government, international, and industry-funded research projects.
  10. Library and Digital Learning Resources
    • Enhance library facilities with digital resources, e-journals, databases, and research software tools to foster a strong academic ecosystem.
  11. Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity
    • Provide high-speed broadband and campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity to enable seamless digital learning and research.
  12. Academic Events and Knowledge Sharing
    • Organize international/national conferences, FDPs, hackathons, and seminars in thrust areas to promote a culture of knowledge exchange.
  13. Alumni Engagement and Feedback Mechanism
    • Strengthen alumni involvement as mentors, curriculum reviewers, and industry liaisons to ensure graduates meet market requirements.
  14. Community Engagement and Social Responsibility
    • Proactively participate in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Haritha Haram (plantation drives), digital literacy programs, blood donation camps, NSS/NCC activities, and other government initiatives to strengthen community relations.
