Training and Placement Department Operations :
The Training and Placement Department organizes students to be trained on Technical skills, Business Skills and Soft Skills.
The training service providers include Government agencies and Private sector players as mentioned below.

NSIC Technical Services Centre, Chennai , a Government of India Enterprise is offering free courses for final year students belonging to Minority Community (Muslims/Christians/Sikhs/Parsis) sponsored by TAMCO, Chennai.
TAHDCO is offering free aptitude and soft skills training for SC/ST students of our college.
The aim of Training and Placement Department is to place students at attractive pay packages with employers of repute. Madha Engineering College has an impressive track record of placing students with more than 100 companies over the last 15 years.
Training and Placement Department has been instrumental in signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the following organizations.
Such associations enable foster industry-academia interaction, partnership and relationship building for benefit of the student, teaching community.

Placement Cell operations includes.
  1. Identification of potential organizations for placement of our students. The potential list of organizations consists of companies of various sizes in terms of turnover, work force strength etc., core companies that are directly related to the particular engineering discipline, IT companies and other supporting companies like KPOs (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) and BPOs (Business Process Outsourcing).
  2. Developing contacts in the industry by attending conventions, conferences and other industry meets.
  3. Building and maintaining working relationship with the companies.
  4. Organizing and conducting On Campus recruitment drives, sharing information on technical seminars, workshops and other technical sessions.
  5. Inviting industry experts for creating awareness among students on latest technologies, practices and other career related activities.
  6. Consolidating, organizing and analysis of student data to maximize opportunities for students
  7. Gathering, Updating and Maintenance of data on Corporates.
  8. Organizing training sessions aiming at making the student society ready for industries.
  9. Promotes career counseling through guidance seminars by suitable corporate representatives.
Achievements of Placement Cell
This year we have successfully rolled out a batch of selected students for the Foundation Program module of M/s. Infosys under the Campus Connect initiative. The MoU in this regard has been renewed for additional two years up to 2013.
Every year we have brought in new companies on-campus and also enabled placement of more students with a variety of organizations including core companies and allied supporting companies.
Every year we have helped and supported the students in shaping their career path and building their skills and network that will enhance their chances in an increasingly competitive global market place.
We have created awareness of the Quality of Madha students by introducing new recruiters to enhance placement opportunities. In addition special counseling is provided with the help of professors to our students towards their pursuance of higher studies programs.
